About the performance

Jah Marnyah performs original reggae music with a unique singing-DJ style combined with lyrics that tackle big issues and remarkable melodies. He is known for his energetic performances and, with a live band, takes his audience on a musical journey into modern roots reggae. “By the sweat of your brow, that's how we eat our bread,” he tells us.

Company History

Jah Marnyah is the phenomenal sing-jay musically vibrating the world. Born on the volcano Caribbean Island called Montserrat, this artist has an amazing lyrical gift and dynamic flow. His major breakthrough came in 2004 with his first release ‘Anointed One’; still even a big hit today. Since then Jah Marnyah has had numerous explosive releases like the crowd rocking anthem ‘Rasta is love’. Now he has established his own record label 'Faya Wurks Records' and assisted the production of his debut album.

This vibrant solo artist has collaborated with many great producers & record labels worldwide and has had a series of amazing releases. Jah Marnyah always tours his music in style. Some selected appearances include: 'City Showcase 2010', 'Artsfest 2010', 'United Kings Festival', 'Summer Sundae Festival', ' Run to the Beat 2010', 'Jamaica Festival', 'Betes de Scenes ft Vibronics' some of which took place in UK & around Europe.
