About the performance
Welcome to a place with no name. Amongst the memories dwells an Iranian woman charged to guard each and every moment. Plucked from life during World War II, a curse disguised as vow has fused her destiny to the soul of another woman, yearning to be found. A powerful culturally eclectic new work created with theatre, dance and digital.

Outreach and Educational Work
FOUND will include a participatory engagement programme which will explore the intergenerational and intercultural relationships between women using digital art, movement and theatre. In addition to this both artists will deliver profession development workshops to artists wishing to work in a cross art form capacity using dance and theatre.
Company History
ZENDEH is a cross art form intercultural theatre company with National Portfolio Organisation status based in the North East of England. ZENDEH explores hidden histories and modern identities, finding the compelling and epic in the ordinary story, creating culturally eclectic productions. ZENDEH produces high quality cross art form productions with creative engagement programmes that are unforgettable and attracts new audiences. Internationally, ZENDEH has spearheaded collaborative working with Iranian higher education, governmental and non-governmental organisations.
Recent Productions / Tours
March 2011 ZENDEH collaborated on cross art form project Shakti with Sangini and the poet Shamshad Khan. December 2010 ZENDEH presented with Dance City magical performances of SILK with an extensive cross art form and intergenerational engagement programme. Commissioned by Northern Stage to create Paper Dolls a beautiful work featuring a labyrinth set of 3000 paper dolls. 2009 ZENDEH were commissioned by Dance City and Arts Council North East to create SEARCH a site-specific production.
