Beat Bazaar Live is a unique live music showcase bringing new British Music to the forefront through its innovative use of bass, beats and basslines laced with beautiful vocals.

This electronic showcase presents new songs from the forthcoming Backdraft album: ‘We Know Where You Live’ which features high energy broken beats layered with rumbling basslines, and dark synths complimented by catchy hook lines & melodies and immaculate production.

Adding spice and passion to the menacing electronica beats, the vocalists, Mr Fox, Ebere, Cheeks, Solja, Anthony Crook, Veba & Tracey Elizabeth inject their own flavours of reggae, roots, soul, hip hop, thrash metal, grime, dubstep, resulting in a distinctively unique work of sonic art which pushes the boundaries of breakbeat to invent something fresh and new.

Most performers/ musicians involved in the Beat Bazaar collective are also experienced youth music leaders who deliver high quality music making workshops for young people in songwriting, performance development & music promotion. The workshops take place at Gorse Hill Studios

Beat Bazaar is a brand new independent record company based in Manchester which formed in 2008. The company is led by Backdraft and a collective of artists and musicians who collaborate to create new electronic music & quality beats.

Their first collaboration is a high energy debut album produced by well known breaks production duo Backdraft. The album ‘We Know Where You Live’ will be released on Beat Bazaar in autumn 2009. Beat Bazaar is fast becoming a funky new music brand in Manchester which takes a DIY approach to creating & nurturing the phattest sounds in breaks, dubstep, hip-hop, electronica, soul and more.

Since February Beat Bazaar has been holding monthly club nights in venues such as Charlie’s Bar & The Music Box, showcasing innovative live performances which fuse cutting edge electronic beats, turntablism and underground UK sounds with powerful vocals.

The collective have also appeared in European cities such as Prague stepping forward with cutting edge turntablism from Backdraft blended with soulful vocals from Mr Fox.

Members of the Beat Bazaar Collective have been impressing their audiences
with various high profile performances. For example Veba has been performing to audiences worldwide with Groove Armada. Ebere has performed with Damon Albarn’s band The Gorillaz. Mr. Fox is a conscious rapper who was part of Subliminal Darkness. Richard Sliwa is a master drummer who has a band called Mohito. All members of the Beat Bazaar Collective have built up a solid fanbase and recognition for their music. Now they have joined together to collaborate on a performance that is guaranteed to impress
